This role as the Training Advisor for our Leinster Concentrator operation is reporting to the Processing Analysis and Improvement Superintendent, this role provides the highest level of training and safety standards. This role is responsible for planning and delivering competency based training.
This includes training in inductions, safety, mechanical, trade, and vocational, supervisory and licensing needs.
You will research, plan, implement and evaluate training programs to ensure all personnel have access to competency based training in order to undertake their duties safely, efficiently and competently.

Nickel West Leinster

Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.  The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.  The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, race-course and even an 18 hole golf course.  As part of our commitment to health and safety Nickel West Leinster.

  • Previously exposed to developing, delivering and assessing training programs
  • Underground Training experience is desirable
  • Relevant experience within the resources sector
  • Cert. IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles
  • Sound presentation and training development skills
