This busy group provides a broad range of administrative services to the firm including search and lodgement, photocopying, mail, couriers, fax, stationery, fleet management, purchasing, recoveries, scanning and telephony.

YOUR ROLE

The Office Services team provides a broad range of administrative services to the firm including all premises related support, search and lodgement, photocopying, mail, couriers, fax, stationery, fleet management, purchasing, recoveries, scanning and switchboard.

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Switchboard Operator to join our Brisbane office, working four days a week. You will work alongside two other Operators and will be part of a highly motivated and friendly team where your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • attend to a national switchboard that receives approximately 600 calls per day
  • keep the on flow of calls to a timely and efficient manner
  • take accurate messages where required
  • distribute faxes through our online system
  • assist the broader Office Services team with general administrative duties.

WHAT YOU NEED

To be successful in this role you will have a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, willingness to take responsibility, as well as the ability to multitask and be flexible. Ideally, you will have experience working with a busy switchboard or in a customer services role. In addition to this, you will possess the following attributes:

  • excellent communication skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • demonstrated organisational skills
  • high level skills in the Microsoft Office suite
