About the role
Be a part of an energetic and fast moving team that delivers incredible, innovative improvements to the Bank. Provide expert services in relation to planning, design, testing and implementing the Bank's network, firewall and F5 load balancing Infrastructures as part of the Network Services team. Our Senior Network Engineers ensure the design, provisioning, upgrading, capacity planning and performance testing of network (data, storage, cabling, firewalls, and load balancers) systems. Provide technical consultancy to achieve effective design and implementation of network hardware and software. Produce design, technical documentation, test plans, reports and records regarding infrastructure solutions. You'll collaborate often with other Engineers to design the best network and firewall infrastructure for the projects.
The Senior Network Engineer we're seeking will have (5+ years) experience with advanced knowledge of communications infrastructure (Cisco routing & switching including Nexus equipment, F5 LTM and GTM, Cisco ASA Firewalls), Operational knowledge of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs), with data, storage and networks for mission experience. You're probably someone who enjoys sharing knowledge with team-mates, asking for help and providing support when they need it, and at the end of the day, thrive on network infrastructure.
The role will be offered under a one year employment arrangement initially with scope to be offered further employment.
