The Sydney Real Estate team consists of 5 partners, the team offers a comprehensive range of property-related legal services for government, developers, investors, owners, landlords, property funds managers and listed property trusts.
In this role you will work with Virginia Briggs who is a leader in the Sydney property market, having developed deep relationships with both government and private clients. Virginia and her team act on large scale real estate transactions for some of Australia's largest vendors, purchasers and tenants.
Virginia is group head of MinterEllison's NSW government practice and is heavily involved in the Property Council of Australia, including as a member of its national Board. Virginia is also the national leader of MinterEllison's very successful Property and Construction business.
As a member of our award winning, dynamic and highly collaborative team you will have the opportunity to work with Virginia and our senior lawyers to gain exposure to the development, sale and acquisition of commercial, industrial, residential and retail developments and infrastructure assets.
We would like to hear from Associates who are experienced and interested in the following range of work:
- complex real estate transactions;
- major development and infrastructure projects;
- urban renewal projects;
- major government projects;
- leasing of commercial and industrial; and
- general commercial advice work.
What you need
You will be an Senior Associate level property lawyer with experience in a reputable property team. You will also have:
- a commercial approach to all matters;
- excellent business acumen and a desire to strengthen and build client relationships;
- superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail;
- the ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment;
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
- resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own.
