A great opportunity currently exists for a Projects and Construction disputes Senior Associate to join our Melbourne Projects, Infrastructure and Construction group (PIC). This role will focus on timely and cost-effective solutions at all stages of the project lifecycle. You will advise a wide range of clients on dispute prevention and resolution matters using strategies including conducting litigation, to best preserve or enforce rights, or implementing options to complement or supplement court processes, such as arbitration, negotiation and ADR procedures.
In the past 5 years MinterEllison's construction team has been the lead advisor on more than 150 nationally significant construction and infrastructure projects and disputes. We focus on client requirements in the broad areas of infrastructure, procurement and project delivery, property development, energy and natural resources, dispute resolution and prevention, contract administration and legislative and regulatory requirements.
Our depth of industry knowledge and commitment to both technical excellence and commercial outcomes means we consistently deliver strategic, pertinent advise to our impressive client base which includes government entities, contractors, financiers and investors.
Examples of projects include the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre PPP, Western Distributor Project, Melbourne Metro, the Melbourne Bus Services Project, Melbourne Airport, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre Expansion, as well as many other complex infrastructure projects in the transport, health, education, justice, energy and resources sectors.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a Senior Associate with PPP experience. As an individual you will need to be proactive, dedicated and a strong team player who is able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
