An exciting opportunity has presented itself to be part of a new technology rollout with nbn! As a Quality Officer, you will report directly to the Deployment Manager and will be responsible for managing the quality aspects on behalf of the Managed Network Deployment (MND) FTTC Program.
The Quality Officer is here to ensure that the Delivery Partners construct SAMs in accordance to the nbn construction standards as well as assess the changes to the construction standards against the FTTC program. This role requires proven abilities to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders as you will be the primary contact and advisor for all quality management issues within the FTTC MND Program.
You can contribute to:
- Reviewing construction drawings to ensure constructability
- Ensuring the SAMs will be built within the designated timeframe
- Performing quality audits to ensure the delivery is constructed cost effectively
- Engaging the Regional Deployment field resources and quality teams to perform audits in each SAM
- Providing scope of works for audits, managing timeframes for audits and managing defects to resolution
- Assessing construction standard changes and providing feedback to Delivery Partners
- Attend Change and NPD Quality forums

A bit about you:
You have proven experience in the implementation of telecommunications networks as well as a strong understanding of telecommunications or civils infrastructure. When it comes to reviewing construction designs, you have an eye for detail and a strong understanding of ensuring their constructability. Along with your superior stakeholder management skills, you will also possess a solid understanding of the application of quality management principles.
Your collaborative nature and ability to build strong relationships will help you tremendously when you are assessing construction standards and providing feedback to your stakeholders. Having AutoCAD and/or MapInfo experience will be highly advantageous for this role.
