Icon Water has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to work on their Urban Development Services program.
Icon Water is responsible for owning and operating Canberra’s network of water and wastewater infrastructure and assets including dams, reservoirs, water and sewerage treatment plants, water and sewerage pumping stations to ensure the delivery of safe drinking water and reliable sewerage services. About the tole
This position will be responsible for delivering a range of business improvement initiatives within the Urban Development Services function. The key responsibilities for the Project Manager role are:
Implementing a wide range of project in accordance with the Agile, PMBOK or Prince2 methodologies and ensuring these projects are complete on time, budget and to stakeholder expectations.
Re-engineering and designing business processes
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to the successful delivery of a range of projects.
Developing education, capability and training plans for stakeholders in line with project requirements.
Ensuring initiatives are prioritised and translated into projects.
Develop a range of standards, specifications and rules for projects.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated and committed candidate who has proven experience in managing projects in line with project management methodologies who can demonstrate their ability to deliver projects on time, budget and to stakeholder requirements in a constantly changing environment. Our successful candidate will need to have experience in engaging, influencing and negotiating with a range of stakeholders and leading a multidisciplined team. They must also have experience in business re-engineering and process redesign using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or TQM in a utilities, urban planning or similar environment.
