The Pre-Sales Architect plays a critical client-facing role, working alongside Sales Directors & Client Account Leads to support sales activity in new and existing client accounts. The Pre-Sales architect engages to interpret and translates client requirements into a viable, scalable solutions that that helps our customers solve problems and meet business objectives. Coordinates efforts across sales and delivery teams to provide solution estimates and generates associated materials to assist the sales teams’ acquisition of new customers and recurring business. 

Typical Day/Week Snapshot:

  • Support the Sales Directors within the Cloud First sales process  

  • Support pre-sales meetings with prospective and existing clients     

  • Provide an interface between the sales and technical teams 

  • Lead pre-sales and scoping engagements to produce client proposals for Cloud First Platform implementations

  • Define strategic solutions and tactical implementation approaches to support client needs

  • Own detailed project effort estimates and associated resource plans

  • Produce scoping outputs such as Statements of Work and Solution Designs

  • Plan & perform early stage project delivery activities, including project initiation and definition phases

  • Ensure solution delivery is consistent with the initial project vision and objectives

  • Identify subsequent areas for solution enhancement and expansion     

  • Involvement in Solution Architecture Team activities to grow the team’s capabilities

  • Develop a product specialisation in selected third party products     

  • Other activities as directed by management or required by operational needs

Required experience:

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce and/or experience with other CRM software in a similar role (5+ years in similar role) 

  • Proven consulting experience and leading solution definition for enterprise clients

  • Exposure to pre-sales activities, including detailed project planning and effort estimation activities

  • Salesforce (or other relevant platform) Certifications – Certified Sales and Service Cloud Consultant

  • Additional Third Party Product certifications relevant to the Salesforce eco-system (desirable)

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Workshop facilitation skills

  • Stakeholder management at senior levels

  • Industry Specialisation in any of Accenture’s 5 industry domains is preferred, namely:

  • Financial Services

  • Government & Healthcare

  • Communications, Media, technology
