About the role
Reporting to the Head of Resourcing & Training Australia & Asia, the Manager Resourcing is accountable for leading a team of sourcing professionals in Adelaide and Melbourne to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to support the organisations current and future talent needs. In addition to this, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our function through a period of significant change, which will transform the way we source talent for BHP Billiton globally. This role is fixed term for 12 months.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies which are aligned to our workforce plan
- Lead the development of innovative inclusion and diverse resourcing strategies that will enable the organisation to identify and attract diverse, high performing talent
- Work in collaboration with your peers to lead and implement global improvement projects
- Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with line leaders to understand their key drivers and business objectives
- Provide leadership in the transformation of the Global Resourcing function to a strategic, proactive sourcing function.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in leading teams through significant change, as well as having strong stakeholder engagement and management experience. You will have proven experience in implementation of best practice sourcing methodologies and diversity initiatives.
