The Enterprise Technology team within Vicinity Centres is responsible for delivering core systems, data, connectivity and infrastructure to execute our digital transformation strategy. The team provides critical technology functions, enabling the business to work better, easier and more enjoyable, whilst building on our capability to provide exciting new digital offerings.
We have an exciting opportunity to join this team in the newly created role of Infrastructure Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager IT Operations, you will be a key contributor and support the team responsible for delivering on our technology strategy and its alignment with the overall business goals. Additionally, you will be accountable for IT infrastructure enterprise wide; its effective and efficient design/engineering ; ensuring all business processes enterprise wide are supported and architecture resources are coordinated and deployed to ensure our quality, efficiency and agility goals are achieved.
What will success look like?
With your diversified background, strong leadership ability, highly developed project management acumen and proven capability in influencing and negotiating change – you will work across the enterprise to:
- Enable cost effective, innovative and shared solutions are deployed to achieve business goals
- Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms
- Lead the development of the infrastructure aspects of the Technology strategy and roadmap, and ensures its integration with the broader IT and enterprise strategic plans
- Build and maintain relationships with other IT leaders/team members to develop a clear understanding of business needs and ensure cost-effective infrastructure solutions are in place to meet those needs
- Develop and control the infrastructure annual operating and capital expenditure budget
- Leverage influencing and negotiation skills across enterprise IT to enable cost-efficient and innovative solutions delivering on our technology strategy
What will you bring?
Preferably you are degree qualified with experience in financial management and leading IT infrastructure engineering teams in complex and dynamic environments (Microsoft Applications, Virtualisation (VMWARE), Data Backup/Restore/replication, Technologies, Hyperconverged and Cloud Hosted Infrastructure/Application).
