Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) we are currently looking for a Head of Finance Economic Crime (FEC) to join our compliance department in Sydney. You will be responsible for assisting the CCO in determining the strategy, direction and leading the development, implementation and change of the ever increasing Financial and Economic Crime (FEC) compliance requirements driven from not only the local legislation (AU and NZ) but also the Group Policy requirements (based on Global and European legislation).

Key responsibilities will see you driving the RANZG strategy and change to ensure robust framework and control environment is in place to mitigate the Bank’s exposure to FEC related risks. This role will see you act the Compliance SME on FEC related projects across the Bank, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver objectives that comply with local legislative and Group Policy obligations.

Key to your success in this role will be your significant years’ of experience in the Compliance/or Risk Management field and likely prior exposure to the Financial Services industry with a proven track record in FEC, preferably both in Australia and New Zealand. You have a strong knowledge of compliance practices and requirements in the Australian and/or financial services sector and a solid understanding of Australian and New Zealand regulatory environment. This role is high profile with a significant opportunity to establish high impact at a leadership level by driving awareness and accountability throughout the organisation in line with FEC policy requirements.
