Accenture Technical Architects will be required to work with development, test and business teams to design and deliver architecture supporting project solutions. Technical Architects should be passionate about technology with a desire to stay up to date as technology evolves.

Technical architects will

  • Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements.

  • Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements.

  • Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.

We are looking to hire a Technical Architects who will:

  • Work across a broad variety of clients either cross industry or focused on a specific industry to architect and implement software as a service based solutions for our clients.

  • Design “to be” solution architectures to transform our client’s businesses; develop work effort estimates for implementation and present these solutions to our clients

  • Be responsible for the end to end project delivery lifecycle in a dynamic, agile environment including project mobilisation, process design, system configuration & customisation, testing, integration, data migration, deployment and business adoption activities.

These candidates should

  • Currently working in a software development or DevOps role, but looking to make the move into solutions or technical architecture

  • Should have an interest in new and emerging technologies and are keen to acquire new skills

  • Should be a natural problem solver who relishes a challenge

  • Should have a degree in a relevant subject and/or relevant work experience

Essential Skills:

  1. 4.5 years of experience working with architecture

  2. Strong design and development skills, Technical and Solution Architecture

  3. Experience architecting technology either custom applications or packaged

  4. Understanding of both development and operations architecture

  5. Comfortable working with both agile and waterfall methodologies and exposure across the full delivery lifecycle (Agile preferred)

  6. Requirements gathering, project planning and management, solution design, configuration

Desired Skills:

  1. DevOps and automation skills

  2. Experience with environment and configuration management

  3. Performance Monitoring/Performance Tuning

  4. Architecting for availability e.g. H/A Architecture and load balancing knowledge and design

  5. Knowledge of delivery / Integration architecture patterns and knowledge

  6. Knowledge of infrastructure architecture (cloud preferred)

  7. Must to have Development experience in Core Java, EJB, JSF and JPA, Design experience.

  8. Cloud Migration (Journey to Cloud)
