|Position Title:||Executive Officer, WAHTN Clinical Trials and Data Management Centre|
|Tenure:||3 years fixed term, full-time or part-time may be considered|
|Salary Range:||$86,897 - $93,413 (G07)|
|Description:||As Executive Officer, you will provide high level support for the Western Australian Health Translation Network (WAHTN) Clinical Trials and Data Management Centre, located within the Centre of Clinical Research and Education (CCRE) at Curtin University.
A key part of your role will be advocacy and networking. You will actively engage with stakeholders, both existing and potential, to promote the activities of, and encourage participation, with the Centre. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Centre’s operations with respect to governance, memberships, meetings and workshops.
To be successful, you must demonstrate extensive experience with research governance and an understanding of human research ethics principles and clinical research practice guidelines. The ability to prepare policy and research documents, grants, business cases and submissions to Government and high level consultation, communication and interpersonal skills are imperative to your success in this position. Previous experience in the conduct, implementation or management of clinical trials will be looked upon favourably.
|Benefits and Remuneration:||The salary ranges presented are those which are contained within the University's Enterprise Agreements; as are the employee benefits which include employer superannuation contribution at the rate of the current Government Superannuation Guarantee amount up to 17 percent, study assistance, a comprehensive salary packaging and wellness programs and flexible and family friendly work practices.|
