Description: Do you have a strong understanding of grant processes within the science and engineering research environment along with outstanding administrative and communication skills?

In this newly created role, you will use your exceptional skills to support the Curtin Grant Success Panel in science and engineering related research. Your knowledge of Category 1 grant processes and ability to support and enable high quality research will be imperative as you implement initiatives aimed at improving the Faculty’s grant success rate.

Your responsibilities will include analysing data, organising and running research development seminars, advising on research policy, funding schemes and grant-application best practice, and assisting researchers to develop relationships with government, business and industry.

To be successful in this position, you require a demonstrated understanding of research applications and a strong understanding of Australian Category 1 grant processes in a research environment. A degree in a science and engineering related field, along with advanced communication and interpersonal skills, is essential.
