A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Leverages existing network of relationships and credentials within the local Resources industry
  • Involved in supporting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
  • Manages project delivery

Skills profile

 

  • Expertise in delivering digitally enabled client solutions ideally within the Resources Industry.
  • Experience within asset heavy, governance heavy industry
  • Experience bringing new technology/digital solutions to increase revenue and growth
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
  • Experience working at C suite level
  • Consulting side experience and Industry side exposure
  • Degree qualification
  • 5 years plus experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • As a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (chemical, electronic, automation and control, mechatronics)

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound understanding of the Industrial Operational Technology stacks obtained via hands-on experience in this domain, including SCADA, PLC, DCS, PIMS, MES
  • Systems integration
  • Software selection

Relevant experience in 1 or more of the following:

  • Planning & Economics,
  • Process Engineering,
  • Implementation/Management of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Advanced Process Control,
  • Systems implementation in a manufacturing environment, and/or
  • Operations Planning and Scheduling system functional design,
  • Implementation of planning, scheduling or yield accounting systems,
  • Implementation of maintenance management systems
  • Implementation of manufacturing execution systems
