Your role in the future:

This a 12-Month Max Term Contract

As a Data Analyst, you will be accountable for reviewing, analysing and validating data, in order to support land access activities across planning and design, construction and maintenance programs. Once compiled, the data will then need to be conveyed and presented to a variety of stakeholders and nbn audiences in an easy to understand manner.

In this role, it is imperative that data is obtained with appropriate lead times to accommodate multiple projects, so good time management skills will be a must have in this position.

You can contribute to:

  • Scheduling and forecasting data requirements
  • Developing and maintaining a data catalogue to track data collection, analysis and provisioning
  • Validating data to ensure integrity and adherence to requirements
  • Relationship building with Data Engagement Specialists and local government and statutory bodies
  • Maintain and refresh data in line with data governance and privacy guidelines
  • Provisioning data to a range of systems, including Quintiq, Sharepoint, LACM and PNI/EVO

A bit about you:

To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in Business Intelligence and data interrogation tools and techniques, ideally from working as either a data or business analyst within a telecommunication company previously. Additionally, you will need to have experience designing a database and writing database queries.

As a large part of the role will be facilitating group discussions, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to easily communicate with a diverse group of people. You should also be comfortable with change - nbn is a fast-moving organization with a lot of change and new challenges every day. We think it's great, but understand it's not for everyone.

You will have advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills and experience using Oracle would be advantageous.
