About the Role

The Corporate and Groups Operations Platform Manager is accountable for the end-to-end IT solutions that underpin AGL’s core Corporate and Group Operations businesses.  These platforms are largely based on an SAP set of technologies, but the role will also cover other non-SAP systems that support the business processes.   A key part of this role will be building an expert SAP team to define and drive AGL’s ERP Uplift program and ultimately own the future S/4 HANA based platform this program will deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Information Technology provides the AGL business, “fit for purpose” technology solutions and services required to transform the  experience of AGL’s customers
  • Maintain strong relationships with the business consumers of IT and develop close empathy for the needs of our employees who depend on these solutions
  • Define and mobilise IT initiatives and ensure delivery of outcomes consistent with customer needs, business priorities, IT best practice and AGL’s strategic direction. 
  • Define and driving an existing pipeline of IT changes on current solutions whilst also guiding and monitoring the changes within the ERP uplift program to ensure employee and business benefits are realised. 

About You

  • Experience delivering end-to-end IT solutions that underpin AGL’s core Corporate and Group Operations businesses
  • Ability to build, engage and lead a dynamic, forward looking team of technical and functional experts.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding and advising business and IT stakeholders on options and future direction for the platforms they consume.
  • Experience defining and driving an existing pipeline of IT changes on current solutions whilst also guiding and monitoring the changes within the ERP uplift program Define and own the end state solution architecture for the platform. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to work closely with business stakeholders to scope requirements (User Stories)
  • Ability to mobilise IT initiatives and ensure delivery of outcomes consistent with customer needs, business priorities, IT best practice and AGL’s strategic direction.
