Here’s where you come in…
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance Services you will assist in the integration of material ESG investment issues throughout the investment portfolio.
This role will be involved in ensuring material ESG issues are incorporated into the Fund’s investment programs, and you will contribute to the internal management teams in relation to incorporating ESG into valuations.
You will assist in the administration of AustralianSuper’s stock voting process and assist in the analysis and formation of voting decisions. You will also be involved in the analysis and decision making and administration of AustralianSuper’s participation in class actions.
You will work with the Fund’s collaborative investor groups in achieving its ESG objectives, and assist in the development of ESG/Active Ownership policies for the Fund.
Tertiary level qualification(s) in Commerce, Economics, Business, Finance or related disciplines. A basic understanding of and strong interest in ESG issues, some financial markets experience and the ability to understand the investment relevance in ESG issues.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal investors on ESG issues, and the ability to prepare reports, analyse information and draw conclusions/recommendations.
