POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage technical operations with adherence to strict SLAs for Availability, Incident and Problem resolution.

  • Design, test and implement enhancements and improvements.

  • Disaster Recovery - Manage DR from an infrastructure standpoint.

  • Monitor platform capacity, availability and compliance.

  • Take ownership for critical incident resolution and play the role of ‘Point of Contact’, driving issues to closure.

  • Rapidly solve complex technology problems to restore production system availability

  • Proactively monitor & manage events to maintain critical production systems availability

  • Review, maintain and ensure end-to-end architecture diagrams for critical services to assist in upstream and downstream impact assessment and causal analysis

  • Confirms all technical functions including HA and DR are active and tested to the agreed contractual levels.

  • Review root cause of escalations and work with appropriate resources to ensure continuous improvements of technology environment and products

  • Applying effective risk controls to identify potential threats and minimize or remove a business impact

  • Maintains and analyzes metrics to identify harmful trends, capacity forecasting and planning inputs

  • Design and monitor dashboards to help identify technical issues before incidents occur.

  • Plan work executions in consultation with client supervisor(s).

  • Execute service management operational processes to drive consistent execution.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Location: Perth CBD.

      2. Experience: 5+ years of experience providing technical consulting services and expertise to Enterprise-level clients. 2+ years’ experience with relevant network equipment (esp. F5 and NetScaler).

      3. Skills: Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories in own discipline, and broad knowledge of principles and concepts of other data center technology functions.

      4. Skills: Prior experience designing, testing, implementing and operating load balancing solutions in large organizations, including

  • F5 Networks products

  • Citrix NetScaler products

  • IP networking concepts and technologies (esp. routing & switching, address translation, firewalls, load balancing and traffic acceleration.)

  • Load balancing and traffic acceleration concepts and technologies

  • Knowledge of public cloud load balancing and networking is advantageous

      5.  Skills: Working Knowledge required of:

  • Data center infrastructure (compute, storage, network, HCI)

  • VMware

  • Windows Server/Unix/Linux

  • SAN and NAS technologies

  • IT Service Management and ServiceNow

  • Infrastructure management/monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, SCCM, SCOM)

     6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and status clearly and succinctly to leadership teams.

     7. Strong client relationship management skills, being comfortable speaking to senior management within Accenture and client organization.

     8. Ability to excel under pressure and tight deadlines and work effectively in high stress situations

     9. Thrive in a teamwork centric environment. Effectively work with global teams.

    10. Ability to work independently and perform well with minimal supervision

    11. Strong relationship skills and ability to build relationships with cross-functional departments.
